1997 to Present - Principal, Thinking Tech Consulting, Lakes Region, NH
Serving as an independent consultant to a variety of individuals and organizations providing web site development, network planning, programming and diagnostic services.
August 2000 to April 2007 - Network Systems Manager, New Hampton School, New Hampton, NH
Worked closely with the Director of Technology to manage user support and server administration at a small private high school with 500 users, 300 computers, Linux and Windows 2003 servers across the school's campus. Responsibilities included: supervising student workers and the help desk, working with vendors on troubleshooting and installation; making recommendations to the Director and assisting with project planning for regular & annual upgrades. A key accomplishment was the application of programming skills in automation to save time, money and increase uptime. Departed this position on excellent terms in April 2007 to pursue lifelong dream of volunteer work in the community and entrepreneurship. References available.
February 1999 to August 2000 - Cooperative Resources, Plymouth, NH
Worked as a key team member at a small ISP to provide troubleshooting, repairs, technical support, and customer service. Often excelled as an intermediary between customers and systems administrators. After August 2000 became an outside consultant providing technical training for new employees, and supporting office systems implemented during initial employment.

Speed at learning Java and natural aptitude for programming led to instructor recommendation to serve as a programming tutor. Assisted four fellow students during the course.
